Light & Shadow
Within all of us exists spaces of shadow and light. Some parts of ourselves are deeper and darker than we expect. The shadowy terrains are where we hold our fears, anxieties and insecurities. Sometimes when we’re deeply lost in the murkier parts of ourselves we forget that it exists inside of us all. Our shadow’s origins may differ, but we all have one. It’s human to have flaws. It’s human to hurt, to hide and to feel unmoored at times. When navigating the depths of yourself, it’s important to ask what can you bring to light? What are you ready to heal? Who are you now that you see the anchors that tie you down? Are you ready to share this? Who will you share it with? How will you share it? Art creates a space for all of us that can encompass the spectrum of who we were, are, and will be. Let your shadow and light intertwine divinely. Do not embrace one over the other. Allow them to dance in harmony, composing the unique force that you are. The complexity of your nature is bewildering and beautiful.
